The Struan Inn is a rare Scottish gem,
a charming, authentically traditional and rustic Highland village
inn-style hotel. In the modern age there are too few properties
and experiences of this distinctive charm and ambience, even in
Scotland.

Combine this feast with the welcoming
warmth and character you would expect which is true Scottish
hospitality, against a backdrop of soothing traditional Scottish
and Celtic background music, and rustic décor and ambience so
well capturing the mood of the locality, and you have the
experience which awaits you here - very nostalgic for some, new
and inspirational for others, and carefully nurtured by the very
personal way in which the hotel is run - by a true Scottish owner
and her friendly staff. As soon as you enter the hotel you will be
struck by this homely highland feel. The public rooms, while
deceptively spacious, preserve the intimacy and easy friendliness
of the place - an authentic village pub, a cosy 'snug' lounge bar,
two small comfortable lounges, an open fire with an imposing
fireplace, and a delightful restaurant -all you would expect in
the traditional inn which is its unmistakable style.

|
| The purity of
the air and tranquillity of the area ensure a comfortable sleep.
Spacious traditional bedrooms complement the rustic 'feel', the
emphasis very much on comfort rather than modernity. Two separate
'suites' of rooms each with access to private facilities make for
excellent options for families and small groups. And wake up to a
traditional Scottish breakfast |

The hotel is right on
the doorstep of Blair Castle and the House of Bruar, two of
Scotland's premier visitor attractions. The latter features the Clan
Donnaichaidh (Robertson) centre. Local distilleries with
visitor centres abound, at Dalwhinnie, Blair Atholl, Edradour
(Scotland's smallest) and Aberfeldy; and the Speyside whisky
trail is comfortably within a day visit, as are Scone
Palace, Glamis Castle and Castle Menzies.. Visit the renowned
Pass of Killiecrankie, with its guided walks and visitor
centre. See working water mills at Blair Atholl, Aberfeldy,
Blairgowrie and Perth.
