Callater Lodge is close to the centre of a pretty Highland village near royal Balmoral Castle and Whisky Trail. Braemar, home of the world-famous Highland Games, lies amongst beautiful Scottish hills and mountains by the River Dee. It is an excellent base for touring, walking, hill-walking, cycling, climbing, golf, skiing, fishing, shooting and other holidays.


Your hosts at The Callater Lodge Hotel, Braemar, Maria and Michael Franklin will make you very comfortable amongst most pleasant surroundings

The food is personally cooked by Maria who makes extensive use of fresh local produce.

 
Set in grounds of over one acre (0.5 hectare) near the centre of the beautiful Highland village of Braemar, this licensed 7-bedroom hotel (built 1861) offers a friendly stay with good food at very modest prices. Guest facilities, including ample parking, drying room and guest lounge, make for a very relaxing and enjoyable break.

Our Bed and Breakfast rates are in the range £24- £29 per person for a room with en-suite bathroom and colour TV; a four course evening meal costs about £14.
